Pocket Lists uses push notifications for alerts on when something is being changed in shared lists. When the app is open (when the user is online), the notification is silent, and the app gets it as a signal to update the sync. And when the user is offline for more than 5 minutes, push notifications become visible. Such a workflow allows the app not to show many unnecessary notifications during the real-time communications.
Please share your thoughts on how you expect the app to work in this case. Would you like to see more or less notifications for shared lists?
