Version 2.9.0 magic keyboard issue Fixed

Hello,

I updated the app to the latest version (2.9.0).  When adding new items to a list, the keyboard (frequently but not always) freezes and I’m unable to use the app unless I force close it then reopen it.  Anyone else having issues?

    Please advice which iOS version and iPad model are you using. Does the issue happen within a specific list or on a to-do stream (i.e. 'Scheduled' filter)?

    We did not encounter anything similar with the Magic Keyboard for now, so any details on the issue will be helpful.

      Running 13.5.1 on iPhone 8.  It happens on more than one list.  I’m not using any filters.  Just adding basic items to a basic list.

      The keyboard freezes then disappears and the whole app jams.  Pressing Cancel or Done does nothing.  I took a photo. It happens after I’ve hit Return to start the next item.

        Just to clarify — are you using an iPhone's basic software keyboard on a screen or an external hardware keyboard connected with your iPhone via Bluetooth?

        You've mentioned 'magic keyboard' in the topic subject which is the name of Apple's hardware keyboard for iPad Pro. So I'm just clarifying this to better understand your setup. Thanks!

          Yes, iPhone’s basic keyboard on my screen. The latest update mentioned Magic keyboard so I thought it might be the issue.

            We've released an update (version 2.9.1) with some fixes related to the to-do creation UI and the keyboard. Please update your app to the latest version, and the issue should never happen again.

              Hello,

              I updated the app and also updated my iPhone to iOS 13.6 and tried the app.  Unfortunately, the same issue happened.  When I enter an item and tap Return to create a new line, the keyboard and app crash.  I have to force quit the app to get it working again.

                Please give it one more try with 2.9.2 update released on the App Store few hours ago.

                We could not reproduce the issue on any of our test devices, but applied a kind of patch in the code that will hopefully solve the issue.
