MacOS resort list after changing priority on item

Hello;

Platform: MacOS, Version 2.9.0 (202007092)

When I change the priority on a list item, it stays in the current location.  For example, if I have 3 criticals and 3 lows, if I change one of the criticals to low, it remains at the top of the list.  I understand that this is by design.

In Settings, I have the setting set to "Re-Sort To-dos on Shake" which says it will reorder the todos by priority, due date and name.

I am assuming I am not supposed to shake my MacBook Pro to get the list to sort, correct?  :-)

Please advise.

Thanks

    You are absolutely right, you are not supposed to shake your MacBook for that :)

    This feature derived into the macOS app from the iPhone app by mistake. We'll get rid of it and replace it with a keyboard shortcut for sort order update in the upcoming app update. Sorry for this clumsy mistake!
