Sorry for the trouble! As the crashing occurs in few seconds after the app launch (which is the time the sync is updating automatically), it all looks like some kind of a local data integrity issue.
Later this week, we will be releasing an update with some crashing fixes found in the latest release. There was an issue related to the sync update, so it is likely the upcoming update will help fixing this.
However, the quicker workaround would be to just re-install the app from scratch and to sync with your PocketLists.cloud account to restore your data. Since your have the sync enabled, and the data is backed up in the cloud, you can simply delete the app from your device > install the app from scratch from the App Store > select 'Start Fresh' on start > head on to Settings > Sync > and sign in to your account using the sign up option you've initially used — either 'Sign in with Apple' or 'Sign in with email' (please be sure to select the option you've used initially). This will download the data from the cloud from scratch so there should be no crashing issues related to the sync update.
Sorry for the trouble with this unexpected crashing issue. We'll double-check all crashing logs later today to be sure we've nailed bugs related to the sync update.
Thank you. I've done what you indicated several times with reinstalling and still hit the same issue. Once it starts syncing, it crashes.
Sounds like I need to wait until the release later in the week
