Allow tasks to be in multiple lists

This morning I wanted to make a list of tasks I will accomplish today. But the tasks were in different lists. Would it be possible to let me somehow mark tasks across lists? iOS Notes has a feature to hashtag and make new lists but that is pretty cumbersome. I was hoping to just walk across lists and mark the ones I’ll do today.
