Pocket ListsQuestions

Old Pocket List

so I updated my iPhone out of iOS 10 to iOS 12 and now my old pocket won’t work. I was hoping by downloading the new pocket, my info from the old would transfer over. It did not. Is there any way for me to retrieve that data from the old one?

Normally, the data should had been transferred from Pocket Lists 1 to Pocket Lists 2 automatically as described in the blog post we've published back in 2017: https://1312.io/blog/say-hello-to-pocket-lists-2/

The data migration process was straight forward and easy: 1) Update the former Pocket Lists 1 app to the updated version on the App Store, 2) Install the new Pocket Lists 2 on the App Store, 3) Both apps would see each other and transfer the data automatically using the special 'bridge' functionlity.

This Pocket Lists 1 app 'bridge' migration update was available on the App Store in 2017 and 2018 and was compatible with iOS 10, so the update would easily install on any older 32-bit iOS device with Pocket Lists 1.

Right now, the former app update it not available on the App Store anymore. Few months ago, this 'bridge' update was discontinued on the App Store because we considered this almost-two-years term to be enough for the app migration process to be completed in full, and (which is most important) because of maintenance issues with new iOS 11 and iOS 12 releases. We just could not support that migration window any longer, sorry.
