Sync stars
Is there a way to sync stars between family members?
If I star a to do, then it is private to me and the circle remains a circle on my family’s device
With common lists shared across family members it would it would be good for us both to be able to collaborate By using stars and circles to indicate a status
For example: groceries. I would like to ‘star’ milk, with the aim that my partner sees that we need it and picks up milk when at the shops next. The groceries milk to do is never completed, just starred or put back as a circle when the milk is picked up

In Pocket Lists, starred (favorite) items are personal by design. This gives each family member an ability to have their own starred item list (agenda) without interfering with other members.
The best solution for the case you've described would be to use either to-do assignments or manual priorities. For example, you may assign particular items green, yellow, red or even on-fire priorities, and this will be shared across all your family members and devices.
